Improved text input area on mobile devices for long messages (scrolling/zooming)

I would like the text input field on mobile devices (for writing messages) to handle long messages better. Currently, it does not expand or scroll properly, making it difficult to read and edit long texts. I want the input field to be easier to use for long messages on mobile devices.
